Hubu Alsahra’ حب الصحراء = Love of the desert
Journeys led by heritage, set off city by city tires rolling, towns, villages road side stops peek a boo I feel the energy of this journey from north to the south and eastward drawn to the desert. Most beautiful country and I was proud to see it beyond my mothers eyes from the high Atlas Mountains, to the desert, to the sea.
Sand through my toes spoke to me the loudest walking this landscape like a nomad free in spirit, full in the heart, mother and earth. Patience of watching light, sitting tight, holding your breathe and being in the moment.
