Bones
Animal bones have been used in the traditional religious rights and cultural practices of American Indians, Eskimos, Aleuts, and Native Hawaiians for centuries. I found these Elk bones on eBay and soon discovered the farmer in Oregon had acres filled with these naturally sun bleached structures. I was so drawn to their shapes and natural texture that I purchased all that the farmer could gather from his land and so the journey began. These bones were so naturally beautiful they have not been altered from their original state. I did this consciously as not to disrupt the spirit of the animal, but merely embrace beauty and creation out of natural death and decay.

This table is made of Elk bones naturally sun bleached by the sun that came from a farm in Portalnd, OR. The table is souly balanced with its own weight, seamless, no glue or foreign objects. 100% organic.
